I started my financial planning career as an administrative assistant at a wealth management firm in 2006 as the stock market was about to take its biggest hit, hitting its lowest point in over a decade. Having no idea what was ahead or in store for me, I decided to take that plunge and see what this career had to offer.
Since then, I’ve gone through different financial positions and areas of the industry (Broker/Dealer, RIA as well as the Insurance side) never putting thought into how many years it would take to get there. I just knew that putting in the time, effort and learning things outside of my comfort zone, I’d get there some day.
Born in Pensacola, FL and spent most of my childhood years growing up in Naples and Sicily. After my father’s retirement from the Navy in 1990, we moved to the east coast and for 27 years, I got to call New Jersey and New York City my home. It wasn’t until July 2017 that I made my final move here to the west coast, to my “new” permanent home San Diego, California.
